PINK OAKS: 10 Tips for Breast Cancer Prevention

Breast cancer affects everyone, with an estimated 232,340 new cases of invasive breast cancer expected to be diagnosed in U.S. women this year, along with 64,640 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.  October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so please take a moment to remember those lost to breast cancer and get out there to practice prevention by exercising and following these important steps.  Share them with others!

2. Eat healthy to avoid tipping the scale. Embrace a diet high in vegetables and fruit and low in sugared drinks, refined carbohydrates and fatty foods. Eat lean protein such as fish or chicken breast and eat red meat in moderation, if at all. Eat whole grains. Choose vegetable oils over animal fats. Read more of this post
